Following a mandate from the Lord in 1987 to ‘GO TEACH ABOUT THE TREASURE OF THE LORD’, Rev. Kofi Assan applies the “Gospel of the Kingdom” to the Dark-skinned people-group of the world.
You know, the Greek word translated ‘nations and ‘gentiles in most parts of the New Testament is the word ‘ethnos’. This refers to a group of people, irrespective of geo-political boundaries, who have similar lifestyles and therefore similar circumstances. To each of these, what our dearest Jesus referred to as the “Gospel of the Kingdom” can be applied, to address their peculiar needs en bloc.
The reason is to afford all people-groups (in their positive uniqueness), the opportunity to witness God’s Royalty, Rule and Realm, both in their spiritual and secular lives, before Jesus Christ comes again.
