THE WISDOM OF LEAVING THE OLD

In this chapter, we will consider the impeccable Blood of Jesus in bringing about mankind’s new position before God, and God’s new way of dealing with you in the Kingdom system of Jesus.

We will start from the shadow form of Jesus’ immaculate Blood in the story of God’s covenant with Abraham. You know, it is during the ‘cutting’ of this covenant that Jesus appeared as a Burning Torch.

Please understand that in this encounter, Abraham wanted God to certify to him that, having turned his back on his old dwelling place of Ur of the Chaldeans, (representing the religious-order of the world), he would inherit a new Promised land (representing the Kingdom-system or arrangement).

Leave The Old

Beloved, understand that God’s blessings on your life will be limited if you do not ‘leave’ your family of orientation – just as God instructed Abraham. This Kingdom-wisdom of leaving the old is akin to Kingdom-repentance.

So, if you want the blessing of Abraham, who lived in a Kingdom system your faith in Jesus’ work for you must make you obey God as Abraham did.

Now, the reason for ‘leaving’ your family of orientation is simple. It is because when God puts all His blessings on you in your family house,

you would not be able to handle the enemies who will come from your own household or family – Matt. 10:36.

This does not mean you must be suspicious of your relatives as potentially evil people, or refuse to provide for them.

Rather, you should simply live by the Kingdom-bringing wisdom of God which en-joins that you ‘separate’ yourself from your family of orientation, to make ‘room’ for your family of creation.

Beloved, this is partly why in the first Kingdom era of Eden, God clearly said for a man to leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife – Gen. 2:22-24.

So, my friend, before we embark on our discussions, understand that you cannot expect the best of God in your life if you do not follow the Kingdom arrangement of leaving the old family of orientation to the new family of creation or having Kingdom-repentance.
