In the tail-end of chapter four, we started discussing the anointing. Beloved, Jesus’ anointing brings dominion into your life. It is a dominion or Kingdom anointing. By it you seek to have the Kingdom in your practical life.
Now, what does dominion anointing do in your practical life to enable you to fulfil your original dominion mandate? Eight points or results here:
1) Kingdom or dominion anointing puts you in command – 1 Sam. 10:1.
Yes, you are upgraded to a commander-in-chief. So, you issue decrees and the devil and circumstances are forced to obey you.
You know, our dearest Jesus is Lord of all because of the dominion-anointing that He has without measure. With this anointing He made and so owns and controls all things, even after the fall of creation.
2) The dominion anointing brings recovery – 1 Sam.10:2.
The moment the anointing came on Saul, the lost donkeys he went looking for were recovered. Dominion anointing is a recovery one. Yes, what we lost in Adam is recovered in Christ, the anointed one. My friend, what are you looking for? You will recover it by this ruler-ship anointing! Amen!
3) Dominion or Kingdom anointing brings progress – 1 Sam. 10:3.
Yes, dominion anointing brings an end to stagnation and stagflation in life. By it, you accelerate and bypass the arm of flesh.
4) Kingdom anointing brings favour – 1 Sam. 10:4.
Beloved, it compels people to start respecting you instead of vexing you. Even begging will be over by this anointing. And people will desire to bless you for no reason. That is favour. Hallelujah!
5) The Kingdom or dominion anointing that Jesus gives ensures protection and preservation – Ps. 89:20- 23; 105:14-15.
Yes dear child of God, there is a secret place in God that the devil cannot find you, when you get there – Ps. 91:1. It is living under the Kingdom anointing.
6) The anointing that brings dominion makes you a message or a sign to all – 1 Sam. 10:7.
This sign point people to our Lord Jesus Christ, the fountain of dominion anointing.
7) A Kingdom or dominion anointing makes you submissive and humble – Eph. 5:18-21; Matt. 5:5.
Understand that it is the Meek who shall inherit or take dominion over the earth.
8) Finally, it enables you to bear unreasonable burdens. You know, this
world is an unreasonable place. So, all will not be rosy with you, no matter how anointed you are. But the dominion anointing makes you unperturbed under the weight of unreasonable suffering. Hallelujah!
Direct and indirect anointing
Beloved, desire to increase the dominion-anointing in your life! You know, there is an anointing that comes directly from God at the new birth. It abides in you. It is a general anointing on all believers – 1 Jn.2:20, 27.
Then, there is an anointing that comes indirectly from God through channels or humans. It is a specific anointing. This divine ability or anointing is specific for a specific assignment during a specific time. And my friend, this is the time to get ready for the fullyexpressed Kingdom era to come. Yes, it is time for the
Kingdom-anointing.
