There are seven Kingdom keys that open up the System of God to the religious. These keys control the spiritual Country or arrangement of God and open it up to the lost, thus, determining the response of Heaven to the earth – Matt. 16:15-17.
Our dear Lord Jesus used all these keys. So, it is for us to imitate Him. The keys also describe the seven types of evangelism. You know, evangelism is linked to ‘Kingdomization’. By these keys, you seek the Kingdom or make it come in this earthly life now.
Getting people ready for Kingdom-living
My friend, understand that being ‘born-again’ is the ‘entry-state’ of a person into seeing or gaining awareness of the Kingdom of God. As our dearest Jesus said, He is the Door or the Way to access Kingdom-living – Jn. 3:3, 5.
Thus, being born-again is not the Kingdom-life, but a condition of the human spirit that is needed in order to be aware of the Kingdom System of God. Yes, people cannot really be aware of the Kingdom of God unless they are ‘born again’ or born from above where the Kingdom is fully expressed.
This is why knowing how to spiritually qualified people to gain awareness of the System of God is imperative. It is a great way of seeking the Kingdom to come now.
Use the Door
Beloved, it is for this reason (of getting people ready for Kingdom-awareness) that I share with you the seven keys of the Kingdom.
It is so that, no matter the circumstance you find yourself in, at any point in time, you can employ a couple of these keys to constantly get the Kingdom
of God open to people, to enter through her Door or Jesus – 1Cor. 9:19-22.
Understand that, when entry is not made through the Door or Jesus, but through some other attractions like our organisation, leadership, riches, gifts, signs and wonders etc, the entering-person’s born-again experience will be a religious one, like that of Nicodemus -Jn. 2:25-3:1-8.
Yes, it would not be the Kingdom-type that leads to an awareness of God’s Kingdomsystem – Jn. 10:9; 1 Cor. 2:1-4. This is partly why we have many struggles with people getting committed to the Kingdom system, mandate and message of the Church. You know, religion can blind you from and cut out the Kingdom of God – Matt.15:6b; 23:13.
Now, what can we do for the lost and religious? What are the options we can use to get people ready for Kingdom-awareness?
There are seven options or keys available as such, and none is a substitute to the other. They are all to be used by Kingdomminded people in the different circumstances of their daily lives. Let us briefly discuss these seven keys that open up the Kingdom to unbelievers and religious people.
Kingdom-keys for unbelievers and religious-people to access Kingdom-life.
1. Word Kingdom-key
This is the same as Word evangelism. Here, you preach the Word of the Kingdom to get people ready for Kingdom awareness – Matt. 13:19, 23; 1 Cor. 1:21.
Lot was righteous, but never preached. Jonah was disobedient but preached. So no matter your Christian life, preach the Kingdom-word or the Gospel of the Kingdom to the lost and the
religious.
2. Finance Kingdom-key
You can call this financial evangelism. This is where you give money to be used in evangelism for people to be born-again. It is thus, one means of using money to lay treasures in Heaven – Matt. 6:19-21; Lk. 16:9.
You know, money is an earthly treasure and saved-people are a Heavenly treasure. So, there is a treasure-convertibility here – where monies are given to support the preaching of the Kingdom message, thus turning earthly riches into Heavenly riches – Lk. 8:2-3; 3 Jn. 5-8.
3. Prayer Kingdom-key
Also referred to as Prayerevangelism, this is where you plant prayer for the salvation of people – 1 Jn.5:16; Rom. 9:1- 3; 10:1; Jn. 4:35-38. This type of praying should form a great part of your prayer life. The Holy Spirit was first introduced in the Bible as a brooder over the earth in order to get it ready for the Kingdomword or Jesus – Gen. 1:2-3.
Now, He is in believers to perform the same function through them – to brood in the prayer of travail for new birth to take place when the Kingdom word is preached – Rom. 8:26-28.
4. Power Kingdom-key
Another expression for Power Kingdom-key is Power-evangelism. Here, you sow your faith or release the anointing. Faith is a seed that must be sown for the supernatural or miracles and healings to occur – Matt.17:20; 1 Cor.2:1-5. It is the same with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Understand that through power God’s rule comes over the works of the devil – Ps.66:3. But, it is through God’s love that God’s rule comes over human hearts – Lk. 7:40-47; Rom. 2:4; Lk. 19:1-10 Both are important to get people ready for Kingdom-living.
5. Lifestyle Kingdom-key
This can be referred to as Lifestyle evangelism. This is where you sow exemplary Christ-like living – 1 Pet. 3:1-2; 1 Cor. 8:7-12; 10:27-29. This is a foundational Kingdom-key.
Without Christ-like living, the other six keys are rendered impotent to open up the Kingdom to others.
6. Unity Kingdom-key
This is Love-evangelism. Here, you sow good deeds – Jn. 17:22; Jas. 2:15-16; Acts 10:38; Matt. 25:31ff; 5:14, 16. It’s a needmeeting evangelism. It is this
love-key that really open peoples heart.
7. Martyrdom Kingdom-key
We like to call this Martyrdomevangelism. This is where you sow yourself for somebody to be saved. A martyr is somebody who suffers and dies so graciously that it inspires others to commit to God – Jn. 12:24; Phil. 2:5-10. Beloved, use all these keys at various times to open up the Kingdom of God to the lost and the religious.
You know, our God is raising saviours, ‘cut’ in the mode of our dearest Jesus, to expose religion for what it is in the Church. It is so that the Kingdom-system will ultimately flourish – Obad. 21; Mk. 4:30-32.
