Being a believer, even as a physical being, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus – 2 Cor. 5:21.
The Scriptures teaches that all your physical body parts are weapons of righteousness. Isn’t that fantastic!
It is all because of Jesus’ Royal Blood that He deliberately shed for you on the Cross to prepare a place for you in Him. Hallelujah! – Rom. 6:13b-14, “…but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God”.
The Greek word translated “instruments” also means ‘weapons or tools’. It means to God, even your “members” or body parts are His tools of righteousness.
Beloved, you are so righteous in spirit that it affects your physical body, making them weapons of ‘righting wrongs’.
So, God says yield it as such to Him.
In order words, use them rightly because, God truly views your mind, mouth, hands, ears, legs, eye’s etc as His
righteous weapons once you live in the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
The derivatives of righteousness
My friend, understand that all the benefits you can enjoy from God are derived from being righteous before Him.
This is why God makes you righteous in the first place – Rom. 10:10.
Yes, two of the initial benefits of residing in Jesus is being righteous and alive to God. Halleluiah!
This is essential because it is only with God’s righteousness that all other things can be added to you – Matt. 6:33, “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”. In other words, you will enjoy the derivatives of righteousness like peace with God, prosperity and provisions, protection and preservation, power and influence, pleasures and joy, healing and health etc.
