Moreover, you are alive to God once you are residing in Christ Jesus, because there is no death in Him. And so, being in Jesus, He imparts His life to you. Yes, our dearest Jesus animates you spiritually to God, just as He (Jesus) is to God.
My friend, you are not dead to God. He can reach you and you also can reach Him all by yourself through being conscious of residing in Jesus. Understand that the effect of
the death of Jesus is not access to God, but direct access by every human through Jesus to God.
You know, mankind had access to God before our Jesus came. The difference that His coming brought is direct access to God. Hallelujah! So stop acting as in most part of the Old Testament, as if Jesus never came.
Therefore, you are so alive to God that you do not have to get to God through another human being. That would be a mockery of Jesus’ suffering and death, because He died to abolish that. My friend, our Jesus died to make you sensitive to God all by yourself.
I do not mean that you do not need guidance or counsel from human beings. You do, but they do not have to micro-manage you like someone who is dead to God. My friend, although you are in this world, you have to humbly consider yourself differently from unbelievers, who are not residing in Jesus.
A believer is very different from an unbeliever in respect to sensitivity to God’s will. So reckon yourself differently by not thinking like them.
