Our dearest Lord Jesus had so much to say about finances. It is because money means a lot to us humans. Beloved, God is just and loves us. And that is why He lets us know what He thinks about the only rival deceptive god, called mammon or riches.
Before we proceed further, let me state unequivocally that, my objective in teaching these series on Kingdom-finance is not to make you rich.
It is rather to help you to please God in your financial life, by having Jesus’ financial perspectives.
If however, through the application of some principles in this royal book, you end up well off financially, then you have experienced the unavoidable bonus.
Seek first the Kingdom…
Beloved, pleasing God in financial matters is greater than having riches. You know, how to be legitimately rich financially can be taught by unbeliever-financial experts.
However, pleasing God in monetary matters can only be taught by Kingdom-people, whom God has called to teach it, through the Bible and God’s Spirit.
So, you can have so much money practically and not please God. On the other hand, you may not have as much as others and yet fully please God because of your Kingdom perspective of it.
